It all began when the Elders, the first 10 SteamPunk, rose to power.
They ruled the known lands, committing themself to bring back the steampunk fashion, forgotten for years. Right now is too much leds, lights and lasers, as they say. But they soon understood that this was no simple task: the people loved the new wave of fashion, and kept rockin' their futuristic helmets, VR visors and alien-shaped masks. The Elders felt betrayed, this was not what they had in mind for their people: they thought that along with the decadence of fashion, the decadence of values would have followed. |
With a surprising edict, they banished and declared illegal all the clothing, headwear and accessories created post Millennium Bug, hoping that the new generation would have loved going back to the steampunk fashion.
But they didn't do the math. Since futuristic helmets were at this point too hard to be found, the new generation reinvented style with objects and memorabilia found in their old basement or watched years before on tv movies and series. These anons were too proud to get schooled about fashion. These anons like to be called SPAM, aka Steam Punk Anon Movement . |
